La Pipière
Domaine de La Pipière, 10200 Lignol-le-Château
La Pipière villa was built in 1909\. It is discovered after a long journey through wood: it is a massive and sculpted form, a silhouette of a seaside villa transposed into the woods. These features, as well as its integration and that of its common in the landscape, are those of the «regionalist-landscape» current created by the architect Louis Bonnier, in 1890, with the villas of Ambleteuse or the villa of the Bees of Deauville, that use local architecture and its materials in a landscape and multiply the angles of views. The villa, the municipalities and the park have been listed as Historical Monuments since 2016.
