Enjoy a show of lights projected in the Verrerie district.

The Maison de quartier Arènes du Sud wanted to highlight the Verrerie district, often unknown to the Reims.
Since 2021, residents of all ages, accompanied by a multidisciplinary team of 3 Ardennes artists, have participated in different phases of creation (music, writing, visual arts) to produce a video mapping.
This technique allows to project videos on volumes, playing with their architecture and relief. The video projection then creates an optical illusion between the real relief and its second virtual skin. It enhances and sublimates the object or architecture it illuminates».
This video created by and for the inhabitants will be projected on the largest building of the Verrerie district located at 14 rue Saint Leonard in Reims.
Testimonies, archival documents, photographs are mixed in this modern work, accessible to all, taking you to the discovery of more than a century of history in a district built around working-class life.
