Wangen is a strengthened medieval village nested at the heart of the vineyard. Rampart and tour(tower,ballot) of the XIVth century, portals(gates) in sandstone with winegrowers' emblems coopers. The rebuilt church keeps(preserves) elements of the medieval sanctuary.
