Chapelle Sainte-Croix
96 Rue du Maréchal Foch, 67730 Châtenois
The Sainte-Croix chapel is a historical monument located in Châtenois, in the French department of Bas-Rhin. It was rebuilt in 1709 on the site of a 12th or 13th century Romanesque chapel. The new building probably takes the plan of the old one, in particular in the apse and the lateral apses. In 1792, the chapel was sold as a National Property. Bought by the commune, it was returned to worship in 1815\. In the 19th century, a hospice was erected against the chancel of the building.
The building has been listed as a historic monument since 2001.
