«The macabre dance for the dolls of Michel Nedjar» is simultaneously puppet theatre, living painting and shadow theatre, theatre of memory and monument to the victims of the Shoah.

This theatre is not a stage to fix the traumatic events of history, but a device to transform them in the sense of greater clarity, to create continuity with history and a projection towards the future, or even a mode of reconciliation with destiny.

The Centre Pomidou-Metz is designed as a unique experience, a space for discovering artistic creation in all its forms, a place of life where events take place all year round. It is an exceptional place, thanks to the architecture of Shigeru Ban and Jean de Gastines; generous, because the public are at the heart of the project; of excellence, through multidisciplinary programming based on innovative and international temporary exhibitions designed and realized in Metz.
