The Maison de la Nature organizes its 9th «Nature and Heritage» day with discovery stands, demonstrations and visits for the whole family, all around the themes of nature, ecology and the environment.
You can discover here from 10am to 6pm :

• The fruit varieties of Alsace with the Arboriculteurs of Niederlauterbach and its surroundings;
• manufacture of walnut oil (Mr Schneider)
• stone cutting (M. Kapps)
• the bench to be planed (manufacture of wooden utensils, CINE)
• the forge (Forge du chêne fendu)
• baking bread: from the field to the plate (Faust farm)
• extraction of apple juice (arboriculturists)
• wood engraving (Natureà'Bord)
• Study of passerine migration in the Nature Reserve (Ornithological Station);
• Safeguarding wild animals (GORNA);
• mosquitoes and their predators (Mosquito Control Union 67)
• DIY workshop for children (Miss Mosser)
• Climate fresco workshop (new! by M. Klöpper);
• chess (chess club plain of the Rhine)
• Workshop on vegetables through the seasons (Nature'lich);
• Biodiversity at home stand (CINE);
  And at fixed hours :
• at 10:00 am: natural outing around edible and medicinal wild plants (CIN)
• at 10.15 and 16.45: natural exit on the Sauer (CINE)
• at 11am and 2pm: the sound walk in the heart of the nature reserve of the Delta de la Sauer (Conservatoire des Espaces Naturels d'Alsace) - provide headphones for listening to the new podcast
• at 2pm: Raku cooking technique (pottery)
• at 2pm: great game for 12-17 year olds (new!)
  And this year, 2 shows are offered by the association on the Sentiers du Théâtre:
• At 11am: The Unexpected Company and its show We’re losing the North
• At 3:30 pm: the Compagnie La Overfrdante and its show What is due to me
  Here you can enjoy delicious flambé pies including vegetarians and knacks (Thierry Schweitzer charcuterie), good Alsace wine and beer (Brasserie du garçon pointu, Nierderlauterbach), as well as a wide range of pastries for the hungry.
