The Contemporary Arts Centre / passages is a place of production, of distribution(broadcasting) and of raising awareness in contemporary art. It maintains reports(relationships) favoured with creation and is held as closely as possible to regional, national and international artistic actuality. Besides an annual programme of 4 exhibitions(exposures), the Contemporary Arts Centre / Passages also receives(welcomes) up to 3 artists in residence. The site of contemporary creation GINKGO offers to the artists a very privileged executive(frame) to work. Located in the centre of Troy, close to the station, in set(group) of houses of master(teacher) of the XIXth century, decorated with a picturesque garden, at the heart of which rises majestically a Ginkgo Biloba (mythical tree for number of cultures in world), the site exercises real attraction on the artists. Beauty and serenity of the place favour exchanges between artists working in workshop(studio), in residence or exhibitor in the centre of Contemporary Art Passages.
