Chartreuse de Bosserville
Allée du Séminaire, 54510 Art-sur-Meurthe
- Meurthe-et-Moselle
- Grand Est
The Chartreuse de Bosserville, which was erected in the 7th century, is integrated into the current commune of Art-sur-Meurthe. Most of the building materials come from the dismantling of the fortifications of Nancy by order of Louis XIV, but probably also from the castle of Custines. The Chartreuse was listed among the historical monuments in 1948\. It hosted the major seminary of Nancy. Since 1962, it houses a technical and professional high school: the Lycée Saint-Michel de Bosserville.
