An unsuspected menagerie hides in the museum. Discover the animals with hair, feathers and scales present on the museum’s works. Painted on canvas or wood, engraved or carved in stone, these animals of all eras and all countries will have no secrets for you. At the end of the visit, you will have the opportunity to participate in the development of a collaborative work between parents and children that you can take home.

Installed(Settled) in the historic heart of Metz since 1839, this museum redraws the history(story) of the city and of the messin country of Gallo-Roman antiquity in our days.
