Guided tours of the Lantivy Palace, seat of the prefecture of Corsica

As part of the European Heritage Days, the Lantivy Palace, headquarters of the Prefecture of Corsica, will open its doors to visitors on Saturday 17 September 2022, from 10am to 12pm and from 2.30pm to 5pm.
The hotel of the prefecture of Corsica - known as the Lantivy Palace - was built from 1826 on a plot of 7200m², known as the «Negroni Garden», bought by the State from Dr Adorno de Baccioche, A botanical doctor who had practised in the West Indies and who, when he returned to the island at the beginning of the 19th century, had acclimatized rare species. The historic and heritage garden, located in the heart of the city center of Ajaccio, represents an area of 4700m² and is now the subject of a diagnostic and valorization study.
Access will be through the entrance located rue Sergent Casalonga (green portal)
The deposit of bags, umbrellas… in the cloakroom (free and supervised) is mandatory.
Visitors are invited to respect the instructions and recommendations issued by the police forces and the organizers;
Holders of contraband - large bags and luggage, motorcycle helmets, sprayers, bottles, cans... - will not be accepted.
