Ajaccio seen from above
The path of the ridges offers some of the most beautiful panoramas on the Gulf of Ajaccio from the place called Finosa and the Monte Salario and allows to relive all the evolution of the town from the Neolithic to the present day. Until the 1950s, Ajaccio was just a huge garden with an urban fabric running along the coastline and making the link between the land and the sea. Walking this long path gives the opportunity to see from above all the districts and places said, from Capo di Feno to Mezzavia on the side of the valley of Saint-Antoine, and Sanguinaires to Campo dell'Oro on the sea side. Guided by Philippe Perfettini, animator of the heritage of the city of Ajaccio, the participants will discover (or rediscover) the history of Ajaccio, its natural spaces dedicated to agriculture and its urbanization but also some stories and legends specific to the path of the ridges, including those of Mount Cacalovo, the sheepfold of Finosa and the demon Scatinattu. Group limited to 20 people.
