The Priory Saint-Jean-Saint-Paul of Mouth Of Sour is what stays of an old(former) monastery in the order of saint Benoît who depended on the Abbey of the saint-Trinity de Thiron-Gardais, small village was located in about 50 km from there. There was a hundred of priories which depended on this abbey of which one of the constructed first ones was the one of Mouth of Sour in 1117 under the reign of Louis VI the Big person(Main part), king of France. The Priory of Mouth of Sour is one of only which still remains(subsists), having undergone important transformations in the XVIth century and in the XIXth centuries.
