An ancient chapel that became a place of parish worship, the church has a nave and aisles that separate circular pillars surmounted by capitals with sculpted motifs. These pillars predate the 13th century, while the choir was rebuilt at that time, replacing the early Romanesque choir, which was to include a transept. Important modifications affected the church in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries: covering of the nave and aisles by wood-panelled vaults, and raising of the choir by a bell tower with a base cut by a wall, to authorize the addition of a new sacristy. To the north remains the old sacristy of the fifteenth century. The nave of the building is 28 m long (including the 7.30 m of the choir), for 13.70 m wide. It is supported by 12 high pillars of 3,60 m. The aisles have a length of 26,50 m by 3,10 m.
