What is an artist residency? // Presentation of the artist Bernard Calet’s project hosted in residence from May 31 to July 29, 2022.
Art Workshops // Observing, Imagining, Realizing ...
Activities will be proposed from the film made by the artist during his residency.
Presentation of the work of Bernard Calet _ Figurative Landscapes, this film follows the movements of a character evolving in a series of landscapes from Saché and throughout the Region Centre-Val de Loire.

Old(Former) workshop(studio) of the American sculptor Alexander Calder, entirely conceived(designed) by the artist at the beginning of the sixties, it is devoted to contemporary creation today since it has artists' welcome(reception) as vocation in residence. The artists welcomed for a period of three months, produce there works which are then exposed(explained) in museums, historic monuments, arts centres... Today, the Calder workshop favours artistic creation by welcoming artists in residence of any nationalities for a period of three months. At the end of every residence, a visit of workshop(studio) is proposed presenting realised projects.
