Château des Stuarts
Place de la Résistance 18700 Aubigny-sur-Nère
At the heart of the historic past of the city, the former ducal residence of the Stuarts stands as a treasure of Renaissance architecture. Begun by Robert Stuart in the 16th century, redesigned and embellished by Louise de Keroualle, Duchess of Aubigny and Porsmouth, the castle was formerly composed of two wings linked together by an entrance pavilion. He now lives in the town hall and the Auld Alliance Interpretation Centre.
