Since January 2020, the Domaine national de Chambord has been hosting a vocational integration and skills training project led by Acta Vista, an organization specialized in the restoration of historic monuments. Several job seekers are benefiting from this training in trades of the old building to restore the wall of the Chambord area, strongly weakened by the floods of 2016. Students and trainers will share their experience with the visitors and will reproduce in front of them professional gestures (reconstruction of a wall made of limestone rubble and lime mortar).
