Eglise Saint-Martin
Place du 8-mai 36370 Prissac
It is dedicated to Saint Martin, Bishop of Tours, who evangelized the centre and west of Gaul in the fourth century. The bell tower, the oldest part was built at the end of the twelfth, it constitutes the entrance porch of the church. The double nave, it, dates from the end of the fifteenth or even the beginning of the sixteenth. Two bells date from 1913, the third from 1555\. It is contemporary with the rest of the building. Named Mary, its dedication invites to calm the anger of God and to keep away lightning and storm. The paintings that adorn the vaults are probably from the end of the 19th century, they restore almost identical the painted decoration of the 16th century that they cover.
