Produced by the Departmental Archives of the Indre, this exhibition takes us into the history of the vine in the Department of Antiquity to the present day. From the appearance of viticulture in Berry to the obtaining of AOC by the vineyards of Reuilly and Valençay, this exhibition explores the history of the cultivation of vines in the Indre: where was the vineyard cultivated in the Middle Ages? How has the cultivation of vines contributed to shaping landscapes? What were the consequences of the phylloxera crisis? So many questions that this exhibition will answer!

In 50 years, agricultural world underwent deep and fast transfers(transformations). The House of Traditions, local museum located in an old(former) farm of Berry, presents the history(story) of the peasants and of campaigns(countrysides) in Black Valley from 1850 till 1950\. She(It) tries to give keys to understand(include) the passage of traditional peasants to the advent of a modern agriculture(farming). Commemorative site of the territory, the House of Traditions attempts to preserve know-how and rural heritage. Several spaces of exhibition(exposure) suggest redrawing life and everyday life(daily paper) of these men(people) and these women, thanks to an important collection of tools, of machines and of objects.
