Manoir de la Coudraie (private) and its pillars In 1426, the castle belongs to the Seigneurie de la Coudray. During the revolution, the estate of the Mascarenes de Rivière belonging to the Baron de Baude de Saint-Père was confiscated. It was rebuilt in 1820 by Jean-Baptiste Huard, very rich merchant and mayor of Pont-L'Abbé from 1833 to 1837\. The eight monumental pillars were built in the seventeenth century and represent grimacing faces, heraldic lions and are enhanced with funeral vases.
