Électrothèque du lac de Guerlédan - Musée de l'Électricité
Rue du Musée, 56480, Saint-Aignan
The Electrothèque du lac de Guerlédan is a museum managed by the Pontivy community Tourist Office. It is dedicated to the heritage related to electricity. We discover the epic of the construction of the Guerlédan dam 100 years ago, but also what was the arrival of electricity in the world of work, on the farm or transport. One room is dedicated to the boom in household appliances after the Second World War. Workshops are offered to the youngest to discover renewable energies, the operation of a wind turbine or a phone, or even to discover and have fun with static electricity.
