This castle, originally from the 14th century, preserves parts of this period. It belonged to different Burgundian families, including the Palatine family of Dyo who sold it to the monks of the Abbey of Ferté in the seventeenth century. They will build outbuildings for wine. In the 19th century, Count Victor de Murard undertook a restoration which he entrusted to the architect Sanson. A chapel built in the twelfth century but altered in the nineteenth century, contains frescoes of that time. In the park are present a dovecote, an orangery, a wash-house, a model farm. Beautiful English park created in the 11th century with many species.

The central body of the castle is flanked by two wings arranged in return, a fourth building having been cut down to the south to form a courtyard open to the park. The east wing includes the keep, a drawbridge entrance and, to the south, an extension added in the 19th century; a turret is adjacent to the keep, a round tower at the north-west corner. The west wing includes an old part connected to the castle by a building body (19th century) with neo-Renaissance decoration. The castle has kept a chapel of the twelfth century. Important outbuildings for wine (seventeenth century) and a model farm. In the park, remains of an orangery, a cooler and a dovecote. The castle, private property, is not visited. It has been inscribed as a historic monument since 21 March 1983.
