MUSÉE DES URSULINES/ Open tours of the permanent collections
Located in the former convent of the Ursulines, the museum preserves diverse collections forming a panorama of art history from antiquity until the twentieth century. The literary and political work of Alphonse de Lamartine (1790-1869), born in Mâcon, is highlighted in a dedicated space. Other aspects of local history are revealed through the works of several painters and sculptors who have shaped the artistic landscape.
