The blast furnace of Val-Suzon; one of the last blast furnace running on charcoal; constitutes an industrial complex of the 19th century with unique architecture in Burgundy, located within a naturally rich site in which it integrates remarkably, it has under one roof: the home of the Master of the Forge, the charcoal storage halls, and the blast furnace framed by the workers' housing in a present aesthetic concern. We also invite you to come and discover it during a guided tour accompanied by an exhibition on its history and that of metallurgy in Northern Burgundy.
