One of the 19 towers of the walls of the Abbey of Cluny. 121 steps that lead to a beautiful panorama on the 4 cardinal points of Cluny. The Benedictine Abbey of Cluny was founded in the 10th century and spread its influence throughout Europe over the centuries with its abbey church of extraordinary proportions. Discover the numerous monastic buildings and the remains of the great church, the "Maïor Ecclesia", partly destroyed after the French Revolution. The 18th century cloister offers the chapter hall and the remains of the choir of the second church. The farinier, in the park, allows to discover the beautiful framework of the thirteenth century. ... the Palais Jean de Bourbon was built at the end of the 15th century by one of the great abbots of Cluny whose name it bears.
