Our educational service offers you to explore several themes: «Les Résistant.es dans le Doubs», «history of landscapes of the Loue valley» or «Besançon d'hier et d'aujourd'hui» through old and current photographs.

Opening: on Saturday and Sunday of 14 h 00 - 18 00\. Installed(Settled) since 1986 in Planoise, Departmental archives, service(department) of the Department of the Doubs, keep(preserve) archives produced by administrations existing or having existed on the territory of the department, as well as private funds, resulting(coming) from labour unions(syndicates), from political parties, from companies or from associations. Numerous jobs(businesses) (archivists, of course, but also binders, restaurateurs, photographers, stock controllers, etc) are represented there. To discover them, it is to make another image of Archives, far from pictures(clichés)!
