Saint-Myon knew over period from 1903 till 1930, up to seven active mineral sources(springs). Desaix sources, Communal, Jaffeux, Rigaud and Beech sources located along Morge and the Jeanne-Marie source in the village of Parret. The Desaix source recognised for its virtues since the end of the XVIth century, and among which Louis XIV, Colbert, the cardinal Mazarin, Blaise Pascal, the marchioness of Sévigné or else the Big(Great) Miss of Montpensier wanted to use it or to take it in cure, is the last one with sources Beech, to have been commercialised till the end of 1950s.
