The Artisseuses are taking over the cloister of the abbey!
The Artisseuses are two artists who share the same interest for the fabric. They recycle and showcase it through colourful and original artistic creations in cultural and heritage places.
From fabrics recovered from textile factories, the Artisseuses create large-scale works. For the European Heritage Days, they propose to install in the cloister of the abbey a collective work.
A large frame on which fabrics will be fixed will serve as a support for the public wishing to learn about weaving and create a collective work on the theme of plant.
This playful activity, in connection with the temporary exhibition Weaving Nature and the permanent exhibition of Flemish tapestries of the sixteenth century, is aimed at all audiences.
