La Galicière, is a former silk factory of the late eighteenth century, a unique ensemble in France, whose particularisms make it an exceptional and singular heritage object. The happenstances of history have led to us, workshops equipped with machines for the most part installed ”at the height of the Revolution”. The buildings have been included in the inventory of Historic Monuments since 2004 and the machines since 2007.

In Chatte do not follow the directions of the GPS that will lead you on a non-marketable path with the exception of the Waze app. In Chatte, find the cemetery, then turn left in front of the small chapel and take the path of the Galicière. Parking on site
