Château "Qui qu'en grogne"
9 Rue du Château, 54118 Moyen
- Meurthe-et-Moselle
- Grand Est
The castle "Qui qu'en grogne" was built by the Bishops of Metz in the 15th century. Its architecture is adapted to artillery. It thus has a particular military history until its dismantling by Richelieu in 1639\. Moyen is then located in bishopric land and is the chief town of a châtellenie not integrated in the Duchy of Lorraine.
The manor house, restored, hosts exhibitions: tools of the stonemason and the carpenter, agricultural museum, classroom 1900, exhibition "Vive la mule!" (donkeys, mules, mules and horses: traction, transport and portage).
