exhibition(exposure) is present all summer long at the Memorial. A guided tour is especially organised for European Heritage Days jointly by the "historic and cultural Circle dormaniste" and the municipality of Dormans.
Meeting(Appointment) in front of the entrance(entry) of the crypt of the Memorial, at the top of the park of the castle.

The memorial of Dormans dominates the valley of the Marne. He(It) calls back(reminds) both victories of September, 1914 and of the summer, 1918\. It is a private creation wanted by the marshal Foch who chooses the site in 1919\. Works began in 1921 and ended ten years later. The memorial is compound(made up) of five parts(parties) with an access to the ossuary where are kept(preserved) the remains of 1 500 combatants. Outside, the lantern of the deaths calls back(reminds) the memory(souvenir) of the combatants.
