The monumental fountain presents statues dating of 1620. They represent the Samaritan who, giving to drink to Jesus, discovers faith so.
Three sources(springs) feed this fountain and by a system of gates(cracks) and underground conducts(drivings) always roadworthy, also supply a room(part, play) of water and of other fountains in the village. Let us call(remind) it back: Lay-Saint-Christophe is called the village to "thousand fountains".
