23, rue Porot, 88320 Robécourt
It is by 1520 when appears the first foundry owner of bells in the village of Robécourt, and, by 1550, a workshop(studio) is created. Robert Herba families, Thouvenot, Antoine, Messmann and Loiseau in 18th - 19th centuries settle down, then. At that time, activity takes place in an ambulant or semi-ambulant way. The saintiers first ones (foundry owners of bells) from Robécourt come from the city of Mothe (last Lorraine bastion), where this profession was widely spread.
In 1846, Honoured PERRIN (1816-1873), then foundry owner in Huillecourt in Haute-Marne, settles down in the village of his wife Apolline Martin. According to the custom of saintiers, he(it) joins the name of its wife to his, and works from now on under the name of PERRIN-MARTIN. On July 27th, 1847, he(it) obtains the authorisation to establish a foundry of bells which will be built away from the village. She(It) is compound(made up) of two ovens, of which one in "streetlight". FERDINAND FARNIER (1849-1924) resumes(takes back) in his account the foundry of Robécourt August 6th, 1873\. He(It) endows her with a second oven, that of the foundry of Vrécourt acquired(bought back) to PROSPER ROSIER-MARTIN in 1876, and the team of a bridge(deck) - movable wooden, as well as of secondary workshops(studios), forges, étuve, joinery(joiner's workshop). GEORGES FARNIER (1885-1964) builds the third oven with "streetlight" equipped with a bridge(deck) - movable metallic, as well as an oven with melting pots between 1925-1927.
