John Howe, ein international anerkannter Künstler, hat die zeitgenössische Fantasie tief geprägt, indem er den Romanen von J.R.R. Tolkien eine malerische Verlängerung verlieh, die zu einer wichtigen Referenz geworden ist. Der Künstler hat auch die wichtigsten Märchen und Legenden der mittelalterlichen Vorstellungskraft für zahlreiche literarische Editionen zum Leben erweckt.
Im Herzen der Ruinen der Kapelle ist eine Auswahl von Werken auf großen Planen abgebildet. Ritter, Drachen und andere fantastische Schöpfer, Merlin und das Schloss Camelot, nehmen Besitz und schmücken die Umgebung. Sichtbar von außen der Kapelle.
Öffnung der Türen im Juli und August von 10 bis 12 Uhr, täglich außer dienstags.

Internationally renowned artist, John Howe has profoundly marked the contemporary imagination by giving J.R.R. Tolkien’s novels a pictorial extension that has become a major reference. The artist has also brought to life the main tales and legends of the medieval imagination, for numerous literary editions.
In the heart of the ruins of the chapel, a selection of works are reproduced on large tarpaulins. Knights, dragons and other fantastic creators, Merlin and the castle of Camelot, take possession and decorate the premises. Visible from outside the chapel.
Doors open in July and August from 10am to 12pm, every day except Tuesdays.

Artiste de renommée internationale, John Howe a profondément marqué l’imaginaire contemporain en donnant aux romans de J.R.R. Tolkien une prolongation picturale devenue une référence majeure. L’artiste a également donné vie aux principaux contes et légendes de l’imaginaire médiéval, pour de nombreuses éditions littéraires.
Au cœur des ruines de la chapelle, une sélection d‘œuvres sont reproduites sur des grandes bâches. Chevaliers, dragons et autres créateurs fantastiques, Merlin et le château de Camelot, prennent possession et ornent les lieux. Visible de l’extérieur de la chapelle.
