A MUSEUM FULL OF SURPRISES Located in the heart of the Montparnasse district, opposite the train station, the Musée de la Poste is a unique, unusual, contemporary and astonishing museum! Through its historical collections (37,000 pieces), philatelic (400,000 pieces) and artistic (6,000 pieces of modern and contemporary art), explore all the richness of the postal universe, from the first messengers to the present day. Accompanied by a cultural mediator, or in autonomy, stroll through the permanent exhibition organized in three stages: "The conquest of the territory", "Men and professions" and "La Poste, art and timbre". Reflecting the evolution of society, the museum invites you to travel through time and revisit the history of France through that of postal activities and more broadly the postal universe. You can also take advantage of the temporary exhibitions organized regularly on the ground floor of the museum.
