The class, the work: it looks great!
Archaeology is not only about treasures. During excavations, waste is the most common relic and represents a valuable source of information. They reflect the way of life, know-how and environment of ancient societies. A chance to look at our society.
The museum invited classes from the Roissy Pays de France agglomeration to imagine how future archaeologists will study discarded, broken and buried objects of our time. After studying one of these objects and having photographed, drawn and analysed it, the students made a poster to present the result of their discoveries. This poster (1 per class) will be displayed on the outside walls of the museum on the occasion of Museum Night.
