This film tells the story of how a protected area – the only one of its kind in France – came into being through a collective, local initiative in response to a government project.

- "This is the story of the determination and collective commitment that emerged with the launch of the Paris-Saclay project, leading to a law that is unique in France which protects 2,300 hectares of farmland and 1,646 hectares of natural and forested land on the Saclay Plateau.
- At the heart of our images are the artisans of the land who produce an essential commodity: food.
- Our film shows the collective vigilance required to preserve the forests, watercourses, flora and fauna, and to keep alive—vibrantly alive—the agriculture of this very special region."
The screening will be followed by a discussion.
- To examine our relationship with nature, and how private or public interests conflict with the quest for a balanced relationship that would preserve the earth and the living world.

"C’est l’histoire de la détermination et de l’engagement collectif qui se sont manifestés à l’arrivée du projet Paris-Saclay et qui a débouché sur une loi unique en France, sorte d’OVNI législatif, qui protège 2 300 hectares agricoles et 1646 hectares naturels et forestiers du Plateau de Saclay.
Au cœur de nos images, les artisans de la terre qui produisent un bien essentiel : la nourriture.
Notre film montre la vigilance collective qu’il faut avoir pour préserver les forêts, les rigoles, la faune et la flore et garder vivante, fermement vivante, l’agriculture de ce territoire si particulier."
La projection du film sera suivie d'un débat.
Poser la question de notre relation à la nature, comment les intérêts privés ou publics s’opposent à une recherche d’une relation équilibrée qui préserverait la terre et le monde vivant.
