The garden is staged around a white-water pond. From the top of the park and its avenue lined with grandiflora magnolias, you will discover an enchanting panoramic view over the entire garden. The garden of Plessis Sasnières offers an enchanted parenthesis where water and plants dialogue in harmony.

In the early 1960s, Rosamée Henrion inherited the Plessis Sasnières, a small shaded and romantic mansion at the bottom of a valley. Interior decorator by training, she put her knowledge of spatial and chromatic arrangements to the benefit of her garden. Botany and its numerous garden visits in England make him want to start planting. She starts around the house, restored and decorated for her and her family. Today, the English-style garden is organized around a white water pond. Fed by the Fontaine de Sasnières, a river feeding itself to the Loir a few kilometers away, the pond is bordered by a bald cypress and a gingko biloba. The diversity of tree species is dear to the owner, a wooded hillside of eight hectares occupies the west of the estate. If the beautiful part is made with woody plants and the expression of a natural garden, the estate also offers more framed spaces and flowers. To the south of the pond, rose bushes and perennials are organized in a U-shaped enclosure, at the center of which a quinconce of boxwood highlights Portuguese laurels conducted in topiaries. The bucolic walk on the alleys of English grass allows to appreciate a panoramic view of the garden, with some arrangements such as walkways, a waterfall and an orientalizing factory punctuate this landscape of the Val du Loir. Since the disappearance of Rosamée Henrion, his descendants, notably Guillaume, have perpetuated the development of the place. The lawn is meticulously maintained, with two mows per week and an integrated watering system, allowing for a thick carpet of grass with a fleece look, a major element of this English garden.
