3 Rue de la Republique, 30400 Villeneuve-lès-Avignon, France
The present palace was built in the 17th century on the site of the livery of the cardinal of Montirac, in which the bishop Saint-Pierre de Luxembourg died in 1387\. The current building consists of two floors on the ground floor and an attic, with three bays. The monumental door, of baroque style, with rounded pediment, is placed on the right side of the facade. All the windows belong to the classic type of the region in the 17th and 18th centuries: elongated rectangle, slightly projecting moldings, with a single recess. A strong cornice separates the second floor from the attic. Inside, the large room on the ground floor contains gilded gypseries: trumeau, fireplace, door tops decorated with cartridges, garlands, palm leaves, shells and heads. The ceiling is in the French style. The stairwell is covered with a ceiling adorned with stuccos with thick tori, fruits and shells. In the center, an 1875 painting replaced an older canvas.
