Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes
Housed in two rehabilitated historical buildings, the Paul-Dini museum presents a panorama of pictorial creation from the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region from 1810 to the present day.
Benefiting from the name "Musée de France" since 2003, the municipal museum Paul-Dini unfolds on two exhibition spaces: the space Grenette, former grain hall of the city, and the space Cornil, former textile factory. Its collections are rich in more than 1400 works (mainly paintings but also sculptures, photographs, drawings...) which cover a panorama of more than two centuries of pictorial art. Are presented artists who have a life or work connection with the Rhône-Alpes region, more recently extended to the Auvergne. Through the prism of this local anchorage, major national and international artistic trends are addressed.
