Through its collections of paintings, sculptures and drawings, the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Bordeaux offers a broad panorama of European art from the 16th to the 20th century. Marked by the presence of artists with evocative names, or very complete collections (such as that of Dutch painting of the 18th century), the collection also offers a look at regional artistic life, with rich sets of works from the 18th and 19th centuries.
