Located in the Raspail Park near the City Hall, the «Raspail Castle», or more truly the Raspail House is an underused historical building. Owned by the City, the house takes its name from François-Vincent Raspail, who lived there from 1863 to 1878\. The whole (house and garden-park) was bequeathed by his son, Benjamin, in the department of the Seine in 1899\. A part is classified in the additional inventory of historical monuments.
