Der Wolf fasziniert und erschreckt zugleich. Als mächtiger Raubtier verkörpert er auch die wilde Macht und das Gleichgewicht der Ökosysteme und spielt eine Schlüsselrolle bei der Regulierung der Tierpopulationen. Dennoch hat die Geschichte ihn oft zu einem Ziel gemacht: verfolgt, in Europa fast ausgelöscht. Die Angst vor dem Wolf hat sich in die kollektive Vorstellungskraft und das kulturelle Erbe eingeschlichen. Zwischen Vorstellungen, Realitäten und Legenden und Realitäten zeichnet die Ausstellung das gegensätzliche Schicksal eines gefürchteten Tieres nach, dessen Überleben heute unsere Beziehung zur Natur hinterfragt.

The wolf fascinates as much as it frightens. A formidable predator, it also embodies the wild power and balance of ecosystems, playing a key role in regulating animal populations. Yet history has often made him a target: hunted, almost eradicated in Europe. Fear of the wolf has intruded into the collective imagination and cultural heritage. Between representations, realities and legends and realities, the exhibition retraces the contrasting destiny of a feared animal whose survival questions our relationship with nature today.

Il lupo affascina quanto spaventa. Predatore temibile, incarna anche la forza selvaggia e l'equilibrio degli ecosistemi, svolgendo un ruolo chiave nella regolazione delle popolazioni animali. Tuttavia, la storia lo ha spesso trasformato in un bersaglio: ricercato, quasi sradicato in Europa. La paura del lupo si è immischiata nell'immaginario collettivo e nel patrimonio culturale. Tra rappresentazioni, realtà e leggende e realtà, la mostra ripercorre il destino contrastato di un animale temuto la cui sopravvivenza interroga oggi il nostro rapporto con la natura.
