Am 20. März 1883 unterzeichnete der französische Staatspräsident Jules Grévy ein Dekret, das die Stadt Tulle mit einem Gymnasium ausstattet.
Die Arbeiten wurden dem Architekten Anatole de Baudot, einem Schüler von Viollet-le-Duc, anvertraut. Ab 1881 entwarf er parallel die Gymnasien in Sceaux und Tulle, wobei er besonders auf Hygiene, Sicherheit und Materialwahl achtete. Die Gebäude des Gymnasiums von Tulle kombinieren Stein, Ziegel, Fayence und Metall und weisen so eine bemerkenswerte Polychromie an der Fassade auf.
Das Gymnasium wurde am 1. Oktober 1887 eröffnet. Im Jahr 1923 nahm er den Namen Edmond Perrier an, zu Ehren des berühmten Zoologen von Weltrang, der zwei Jahre zuvor verstorben war und ein ehemaliger Schüler des Gymnasiums in Tulle war, das von 1567 bis 1887 dort wohnte.
Obwohl die Modernisierung des Hauses mehrere Innenausstattungen erforderte, wurden die Außenbereiche aus dem 19. Jahrhundert erhalten. Das Gymnasium besitzt außerdem zwei Werke, die im Rahmen des künstlerischen 1 % realisiert wurden, sowie eine pädagogische Sammlung bestehend aus wissenschaftlichen Objekten und einem Bibliotheksbestand.
Geführte Besichtigungen, die der Architektur und dem Garten des Gymnasiums gewidmet sind, den Werken des künstlerischen 1 % und den pädagogischen Sammlungen werden von Stéphanie Casenove, Forscherin im Dienst für Kulturerbe und Inventar der Region Nouvelle-Aquitaine, um 10:15 und 14:15 Uhr angeboten.

On 20 March 1883, the President of the Republic Jules Grévy signed the decree providing the city of Tulle with a high school.
The work was entrusted to the architect Anatole de Baudot, a student of Viollet-le-Duc. From 1881, he drew parallel the high schools of Sceaux and Tulle, paying particular attention to hygiene, safety and choice of materials. Associating stone, brick, faience and metal, the buildings of the high school of Tulle thus present a remarkable polychromy in frontage.
The high school opened its doors on 1 October 1887. In 1923, he takes the name of Edmond Perrier, in homage to the famous zoologist of world-renown, who died two years earlier and former student of the college of Tulle, which occupied the premises from 1567 to 1887.
If the modernization of the establishment required several interior arrangements, the exteriors of the 19th century have been preserved. The high school also has two works produced as part of the 1% artistic, as well as an educational collection composed of scientific objects and a library fund.
Guided tours devoted to the architecture and garden of the high school, the works of the 1% artistic and educational collections will be offered by Stéphanie Casenove, researcher at the Heritage and Inventory Department of the New Aquitaine Region, at 10:15 am and 2:15 pm.
The school will be open on Saturday, September 19, from 10am to 12pm and from 2pm to 4pm, in the presence of the Alumni Association.

I lavori sono affidati all'architetto Anatole de Baudot, allievo di Viollet-le-Duc. Dal 1881, disegna parallelamente i licei di Sceaux e di Tulle, prestando particolare attenzione all'igiene, alla sicurezza e alla scelta dei materiali. Combinando pietra, mattoni, maiolica e metallo, gli edifici del liceo di Tulle presentano una notevole policromia nella facciata.
Il liceo aprì le sue porte il 1o ottobre 1887. Nel 1923 prende il nome di Edmond Perrier, in omaggio al famoso zoologo di fama mondiale, morto due anni prima e ex allievo del collegio di Tulle, che occupò la sede dal 1567 al 1887.
Anche se la modernizzazione dello stabilimento ha richiesto diverse modifiche interne, gli esterni del XIX secolo sono stati preservati. Il liceo possiede anche due opere realizzate nell'ambito dell'1% artistico, nonché una collezione pedagogica composta da oggetti scientifici e da un fondo di biblioteca.

Le lycée ouvre ses portes le 1er octobre 1887. En 1923, il prend le nom d’Edmond Perrier, en hommage au célèbre zoologiste de renommée mondiale, décédé deux ans auparavant et ancien élève du collège de Tulle, qui occupait les lieux de 1567 à 1887.
Si la modernisation de l’établissement a nécessité plusieurs aménagements intérieurs, les extérieurs du XIXe siècle ont été préservés. Le lycée possède également deux œuvres réalisées dans le cadre du 1 % artistique, ainsi qu’une collection pédagogique composée d’objets scientifiques et d’un fonds de bibliothèque.
Des visites commentées consacrées à l’architecture et au jardin du lycée, aux œuvres du 1 % artistique et aux collections pédagogiques seront proposées par Stéphanie Casenove, chercheuse au Service Patrimoine et Inventaire de la Région Nouvelle-Aquitaine, à 10h15 et 14h15.
L’établissement sera ouvert le samedi 19 septembre, de 10h à 12h et de 14h à 16h, en présence de l’Association des anciens élèves.

Desde 1881, diseña paralelamente los liceos de Sceaux y de Tulle, prestando especial atención a la higiene, a la seguridad y a la elección de materiales. Combinando piedra, ladrillo, cerámica y metal, los edificios del liceo de Tulle presentan así una notable policromía en la fachada.
El instituto abrió sus puertas el 1 de octubre de 1887. En 1923, toma el nombre de Edmond Perrier, en homenaje al célebre zoólogo de fama mundial, fallecido dos años antes y antiguo alumno del colegio de Tulle, que ocupó el lugar desde 1567 hasta 1887.
Si bien la modernización del establecimiento requirió varios ajustes interiores, los exteriores del siglo XIX se han conservado. El liceo también tiene dos obras realizadas en el marco del 1% artístico, así como una colección pedagógica compuesta por objetos científicos y un fondo de biblioteca.
Stéphanie Casenove, investigadora del Servicio de Patrimonio e Inventario de la Región Nueva Aquitania, ofrecerá visitas comentadas dedicadas a la arquitectura y al jardín del liceo, a las obras del 1% artístico y a las colecciones pedagógicas a las 10:15 y 14:15.
La escuela estará abierta el sábado 19 de septiembre, de 10:00 a 12:00 y de 14:00 a 16:00, en presencia de la Asociación de antiguos alumnos.
