Île-de-France
Designed by Jean Dubuffet in 1967 and built between 1986 and 1988, La Tour aux Figures is a monumental sculpture emblematic of contemporary art. This first public commission made to Jean Dubuffet by the State in 1983 was inaugurated in 1988\. The Tower of figures is a monumental sculpture. Its impressive height of twenty-four meters and its interior space the Gastrovolve, an ascending labyrinth, make it an exceptional work of art. This sculpture, installed in the heart of the departmental park of Ile Saint-Germain in Issy-les-Moulineaux, can be visited again since September 2020, only on a guided tour. A reception area, accessible to people with reduced mobility, has also been created to allow everyone to discover the tower. It is also the starting point for tours of the tower.
