For centuries, the history of the City of La Ciotat has been closely linked to the evolution of its port and its maritime activity. Fishing, commercial transport, shipbuilding and today repair of large yachts, the Shipyards of La Ciotat have shown agility to remain prosperous over the centuries. Since 2000, the Chantiers Navals site has been awarded the «Outstanding contemporary architecture» label. Thanks to remarkable infrastructure and exceptional know-how, La Ciotat welcomes the largest yachts in the world.

Pedestrian entrance only from the esplanade de la Capitainerie on the old port of La Ciotat. Parking Indigo La Ciotat Vieux Port. Bus Line 79 from Marseille, stop Tourist Office/ bus station or line 21 and 10 from the train station.
