The Chaumont Museum of Art and History is located in one of the former palaces of the Counts of Champagne. It brings together rich collections of paintings, sculptures and archaeology, including one of the precious battleships found in Marmesse (photo attached) and dating from the late 9th century or early 8th BC, the pivotal period between the Bronze Age and the Iron Age.
