After having enthused critics and audiences at numerous exhibitions in France and around the world, artist Patrick Villas – a great name in the world of contemporary animal sculpture – opens his sculpture garden to the public for the Rendez-Vous at the Gardens.
Having settled in Haute-Marne, between Neufchâteau and Vittel, Patrick Villas shows that all the conditions are met to seduce the public: in a garden opening onto a valley, he presents twenty monumental and semi-sculpturesmonumental animals and human figures in ceramic and bronze. The public is also invited to visit the artist’s studio.
Patrick Villas (born 1961) is an artist of international renown, having had public commissions among others from the Museum of Zoology of Antwerp (B), the Departmental Fund of Contemporary Art of the Orne, the village of Robécourt (88) and Matmut. Its most important exhibitions include the Orangerie du Sénat, the Fondation de la Mamut pour l'Art and the towns of Compiègne and Bagnoles de l'Orne.
