Visit the Gardens at the Abbey of Trois-Fontaines on Sunday, June 4, 2023. The gardens of the Abbey of Trois-Fontaines, founded in 1118, include a vast green carpet bounded by a basin, in which statues and multi-centenary lindens are placed. In the 19th century, the setting of the ruins of the 12th century abbey church gave the place a real romantic charm.

  • Guided tour of the Botanical & Historical Park of the Abbey at 3.30pm. Free tour. Duration of the tour: 2am.
  • Free visit of the abbey from 2pm to 6pm. Free entrance.
  • Visit of the Bicycle Museum of the abbey from 2pm to 6pm. Price Adult Bike Museum 3€ / Child 2€.

The cistercienne abbey of Three - Fountains was based(established) in 1118, she is the first girl of Clairvaux under the abbatiat of saint Bernard. The abbey is listed(classified) among historic monuments. The park of the abbey, of a 7 hectare area, shelters about twenty different gasolines(essences) of trees and is decorated with statues. At the bottom of the park, the path of lindens was crashed in 1741\. The most emblematic tree of the abbey stays the standing magnolia, there is a hundred of years, which reveals its pink corollas in spring. It is besides labelled Remarkable Tree since 2016.
