Still partly surrounded with staves(moats), the old(former) feudal castle was transformed into residence of Renaissance by Gaspar de Saulx-Tavannes, between 1563 and 1573\. The green case of the castle includes a picturesque park and a regular garden, itself compound(made up) of a big(great) flowerbed(orchestra) adorned with a circular pond lined by staggered rows of lindens.
