What would music (and gardens) be without birds? Music in imitation of Nature, carries the melancholy of the night bird exalting love in all its forms. Under the emblem of the melodious bird, embodiment of love lyricism, vocal and instrumental pieces of the seventeenth century will alternate in a profusion of trills and roulades.
Under the emblem of the melodious bird, works by Guédron, Moulinié, Le Camus, Purcell, Dowland, Van Eyck establish a dialogue between flute, lute, harp and voice.
